When should I be concerned about a picky-eating toddler?

Oh I feel ya! My son just turned 2 a few weeks ago. I could not get him to eat anything! He would scream and fight. It was awful! I took him to the doctor and she told me that he could go 3 days with out eating and it will not harm him. So bottom line, if he does not eat what you give him then he does not eat at all. So I went home and stuck to my guns! If he did not eat what I gave him, then he did not eat at all. It did take about 3 days of no eating, but he finally caved and started to eat stuff that he would gag on before. So far it's working. We still have our bad days, but it is getting better.
